Confirmation of Acceptance

Accepted applicants are required to fill out the Confirmation Form (available in the student portal) and pay the $500 USD confirmation fee within one month of being accepted in order to secure their place in the program. The confirmation fee is considered the first payment of the student's tuition fee, and is subtracted from the total amount due. The confirmation fee cannot be paid through scholarships or payment plans and must be paid in full by the student. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer; however, bank transfers generally take 45-60 days to arrive. It is preferred to pay by credit card.

Student Visa

Confirmed students need to obtain a student visa from the nearest Israeli embassy or consulate before arrival, which can take up to 2-3 months for approval. All applicants should verify if the country which issued their passport allows travel to Israel. Generally you must apply for a visa in the country of your passport. Further information regarding student visas is provided on the TAU International website.

On-Campus Housing

There is a limited amount of on-campus housing available for international graduate students; the majority of master's students prefer to live in rented apartments throughout Tel Aviv-Yafo. Further information regarding dormitories can be found on the TAU International website. The deadline for on-campus housing registration is the end of May; students requesting placement in dorms after this deadline will be put on a waiting list.  All questions related to on-campus housing should be directed to housing@tauex.tau.ac.il.
