International Applicants

M.A. in Global Migration and Policy International Applicants

The following steps are for international applicants. Instructions for Israeli applicants can be found on the linked page. Additionally, visit go.tau.ac.il for program information in Hebrew.

Step 1. Enter the admissions portal website.** Choose your country of residence from the dropdown menu.

Step 2. Complete the personal information form. Your username and password will be created at the beginning of this form. Upon submitting the form you will be automacially logged into the portal.

Step 3. Under the “Quick Links” section, click on “Apply to a Program”.

Step 4. In the "Program Category" dropdown menu, choose "Graduate".

Step 5. Scroll down to the "*Program Type and Academic Year" and select “MA in Global Migration and Policy” from the dropdown menu for the relevant academic year.** Click "Apply".

Step 6. Complete the application questionnaire and upload the required documents

*Please note that on the application portal, the Statement of Purpose is referred to as the "essay" requirement.

Step 7. To view your application status, choose the "Program and Admissions Management" tab and select the "MA in Global Migration and Policy". Missing documents or incomplete forms will be listed here.

  • ​Please note that when reporting details such as standardized test scores and proficiency in additional languages, it is important to click the “Add” button after you have entered the information.​

  • All applications are reviewed by the Academic Selection Committee on a rolling basis. 

Information for returning applicants
Candidates who have applied in previous years are welcome to re-apply. If you have already opened a file in the Application Portal, please use the same login details to request an application for the upcoming year, by clicking here.

 

Information for Israeli applicants
Israeli applicants, whether by birth or by immigration, are eligible to apply to this program under the same criteria as international applicants. Visit go.tau.ac.il for Israeli registration. Step-by-step instructions for Israeli applicants are also available .

 

Information for exchange students and Erasmus Mundus EDEN applicants
The M.A. Global Migration and Policy Program encourages student exhange. Students from participating universities including ERASMUS partners are encouraged to apply to study for a semester in the Global Migration and Policy MA Program. Exchange students' applications are processed by Tel Aviv University's student exchange office -- interested applicants may communicate with them directly at exchangetau@tauex.tau.ac.il.
