Emily Schrader

The program gave me a unique opportunity to meet a diverse group of students from all over the world. This diversity challenged me in ways I never would have experienced had I chosen to stay in the United States for an advanced degree.

The professors were responsive and experienced and were of diverse backgrounds and beliefs, making for engaging and thoughtful discussions.

One of the things I most enjoyed about the program were the study tours: we went to points of interest throughout the country and learned about the issues facing the state of Israel and how they applied to our fields of interest. From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the major media outlets in Israel, there was something I learned on each tour.
