Jewish violence towards Palestinians
- Among opinion holders, more than three-quarters of the Jewish public hardly feel any guilt or shame for Israel’s control of the Palestinians in the territories, while these feelings only exist among a majority of leftwing supporters. Among Arab opinion holders in Israel, about two-thirds feel guilt or shame about Israeli control.
- Regarding the worsening acts of violence by settlers towards Palestinians, among opinion holders, two-thirds of the Jewish public support prosecuting those who carry out these violent acts, but a similar percentage oppose prosecution of soldiers who stand aside or who aid in these acts. In the Arab public, a great majority support prosecution in both cases.
