TAU - SPL International Degree Agreement
We proudly announce a new collaboration with Sciences-Po Lille university!
Both universities had recently signed a collaboration agreement which enables students to study for one year at each university and earn two MA degrees. This is a unique opportunity to study in a leading university at the heart of Europe, learn (in English) at the highest academic standards and enjoy an international student cohort.
TAU programs included in the agreement: Conflict Resolution and Mediation, Sustainable Development.
SPL program: MA in Peace, Humanitarian Action and Development.

SPL Collaborative program: FAQ
- What is the tuition at SPL? €4,000
- Does the tuition include readings/books, health insurance? No, but there is no obligation to by buy books and readings are usually provided online.
- Health insurance: Not included in the tuition fees. However, it is no longer an obligation to subscribe to French insurance policy. Students may acquire any insurance policy they want.
- Other fees: There is €90 ‘student life’ fee to pay at the start of the year. There is no ‘application fee’.
- Scholarship options: Internal grants are available on a social basis (CAS), further options might be available with France Israel Foundation (TBD).
- There is no need to fill the SPL application form for the 2-23-24 academic year. TAU students will send their CV and letter of motivation to igs3@tauex.tau.ac.il. The TAU Faculty of Social Sciences will select the students who will continue their studies at SPL and an acceptance letter will be sent to the applicants by SPL. The students will fill out an administrative enrollment that can be completed upon arrival at SPL.
- What is the required English level? SPL will rely on the TAU’s acceptance on this issue.
- How flexible is the SPL program? Could I switch courses if I took a similar course at TAU? Switching courses is possible, provided that the course is given in person and there is no clash with the program planning.
- Does a student visa to France allow students to work? to what extent? International students in France are allowed to work up to 964hrs per year.
- Housing options: There are plenty of options in Lille, Sciences Po Lille will give access to an online platform with rental opportunities. No on campus dorms.
