About the Program
One of only a handful of Master's program anywhere in the world that focus on the climate crisis, TAU's new M.A program 'Social and Policy Aspects of Climate Change' has two main goals: advancing social science research of climate change and its potential remedies; and training new cohorts of professionals for a global labor market hungry for climate expertise.
Designed for holders of Bachelor's degrees in all academic disciplines, the program offers a Study Track obtainable in 12 months (three semesters); and a Research Track entailing thesis writing and two full academic years.
The program features internationally renowned instructors with outstanding multidisciplinary records in climate research, policy and activism. Mandatory courses, electives and seminars offer sociological, anthropological, political, economic and policy perspectives of the crisis, highlight dilemmas of energy usage, security and immigration, urban policies and more.
