Abstract:
Sustainable Development - achieving universal human prosperity while conserving the Earth's natural systems - is the defining challenge of our time. Prof. Sachs has been a leader on sustainable development in both academia and policy for decades. In his talk, he will discuss the current state of global efforts to achieve sustainability and Israel's potential contribution, especially by researchers and students.
