Call for Tenure Track Faculty Positions in Clinical Psychology – Tel Aviv University

The School of Psychological Sciences at Tel Aviv University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Clinical Psychology beginning October 2018.

The clinical-psychology track has at its core the scientist-practitioner model. Accordingly, applicants are expected to have solid clinical background and sound clinical research program.

Applicants should have research programs that complement and build on our track strength focusing on one or more of three core domains: A) Study of foundational mechanistic processes that underlie human mental disorders; B) Evaluation and diagnosis of a breakdown in normal functioning. C) Development and efficacy testing of interventions and treatments for mental disorders.

Requirements: Individuals holding Ph.D. and/or M.D., or equivalent degrees, with postdoctoral experience, a strong publication record, and clinical experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in research and strong potential for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative extramural funding. A successful applicant will be expected to develop an innovative, independent research program, and to share our commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education and in clinical training.

Applicants should show strong evidence for excellence in research, evident by high-quality contributions to social psychology, including (but not limited to) intergroup relations, interpersonal relations, social development, social cognition, and social neuroscience.
