Area of Research: Comparative Politics
Barak Zur is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Tel Aviv University. His research interests lie in comparative political economy and political behavior. His dissertation focuses on how the capability to migrate shapes the political behavior of voluntarily immobile citizens who choose to remain in their home countries. As part of his academic work, Barak also specializes in computational text analysis and data harmonization. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics (PPE) from Tel Aviv University, as well as an MA in Economic History and an MSc in Economics from Bayreuth University in Germany.
